The launch of the DJI Osmo Pocket 4 is fast approaching. Rumoured to be receiving a global release later this month, the new vlogging camera appears set to launch with a variety of camera upgrades, as well as improved subject tracking and built-in storage to boot.

At the end of last month, dozens of Osmo Pocket 4 dummy units were spotted passing through a Chinese warehouse. Shortly afterwards, a Colombian retailer shared videos of dozens of retail units. Now, fresh footage has emerged via other sources.

This time, the leak has focused on the Osmo Pocket 4's hardware. For instance, the Osmo Pocket 4 will feature a 1-inch style CMOS sensor just like the Osmo Pocket 3 before it (curr. $499 on Amazon). However, the new vlogging camera will support 14 stops of dynamic range for improved dynamic range and low-light performance.

Moreover, the upgraded camera provides 2x lossless zoom, unlike the Osmo Pocket 3. For reference, this feature will be controllable via physical zoom controls. Also, the Osmo Pocket 4 will leverage ActiveTrack 7.0, a technology that was previously seen on the Osmo Mobile 7 series.

On top of that, the new leak outlines that the Osmo Pocket 4 will support 3-axis stabilisation to match its predecessor. 4-channel audio output is new though, as is 107 GB of built-in storage that supports 800 MB/s transfer speed. Currently, the Osmo Pocket 4 is expected to launch globally on April 20 for $499 in the US.
