New GoPro action camera releases detailed with official unveiling teased

GoPro has offered more clues about the state of its action camera division. To recap, the company unveiled its GP3 imaging processor at the start of March. Then last week, it previewed a 'new generation of GoPro' via a short video posted across its social media channels.
Now, the company has announced that it will showcase a 'new generation of cameras' next month. Specifically, GoPro has settled on this year's National Association of Broadcasters Show (NAB Show 2026), which runs between April 19 and April 22 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
Currently, GoPro is remaining quiet about what it exactly has planned for NAB Show 2026. In a press release, the company explains that it will unveil a 'new camera lineup' based on its GP3 imaging processor. Supposedly, this processor will be physically larger than the GP2 inside the Hero 13 Black (curr. $359 on Amazon).
Additionally, GoPro claims that its new processor handles 'double the pixel processing' with 'improved low-light performance, resolution and frame rates' too. Not only that, but GoPro will unveil 'associated accessories' during the same event. It remains to be seen when GoPro will begin selling any of its new devices, though.
