Vivo X300 Ultra surfaces in fresh new colorways ahead of its March 30 debut

Vivo is preparing to officially unveil its flagship X300 Ultra smartphone alongside the X300s on March 30th. Pre-launch leaks and a Geekbench listing have revealed some key details about the upcoming device ahead of its official announcement. It is worth noting, however, that the following information is based on leaks and should be treated with a grain of salt until the official reveal.
The upcoming phone's design language is consistent with prior Vivo X flagships, with incremental refinements. Three color options for the Ultra model have been leaked: soft green, black, and white. The black model features a uniform matte finish, while the soft green and white sport a dual-tone rear panel with a darker upper section and a lighter lower section. The X300s, on the other hand, is tipped to come in four flavors: light purple, soft green, black, and white.
The top-of-the-line X300 Ultra is said to feature a triple-camera setup, with two of the three lenses reportedly being 200MP sensors. The main camera will reportedly use a 200MP Sony LYT901 (1/1.12") sensor with a 35mm focal length, f/1.85, and CIPA 6.5 stabilization. The ultrawide will reportedly use a 50MP Sony LYT818 (1/1.28") sensor with a 14mm focal length, f/2.0, and CIPA 6.0 stabilization with third-gen VCS. The telephoto, on the other hand, will also reportedly feature a 200MP Samsung HP0 (1/1.4") sensor with an 85mm focal length, f/2.67, 3° OIS, and CIPA 7.0 stabilization. A supplementary 5MP 12-channel primary color lens rounds out the quad-camera array.
Vivo is positioning the X300 Ultra as an all-in-one camera replacement, offering optional Zeiss teleconverter attachments (200 mm and 400 mm). A more premium "Satellite Edition" bundle is expected to include both teleconverters along with a camera grip kit, 16 GB of RAM, and 1 TB of storage. Satellite communication support is also tipped for this high-end configuration.
A prototype bearing model number V2547DA, spotted in the Geekbench database, recorded a single-core score of 3,722 and a multi-core score of 11,621. The phone will reportedly be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC and ship with Android 16 under Vivo's OriginOS 6. Official specs and pricing are expected at the March 30th launch event.
