Unihertz has now released the Titan 2 Elite. Launching as a Clicks Communicator rival, the new compact smartphone features a physical keyboard with a choice of two chipsets and a 120 Hz AMOLED display. The Titan 2 Elite starts with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage.

Unihertz has now opened its Titan 2 Elite crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter. First teased in January, the Titan 2 Elite builds on last year's Titan 2 with a design that is closer to the Clicks Communicator than its direct predecessor. The Titan 2 Elite deviates from the Titan 2 in other areas, too.

For instance, Unihertz equips the Titan 2 Elite with a 120 Hz AMOLED display. However, this has dropped to a 4.03-inch and 1,200 x 1,080-pixel panel from the 4.5-inch and 1440p panel found in the Titan 2. Also, Unihertz has swapped a 5,050 mAh battery for a 4,050 mAh equivalent that supports 33 W wired charging.

By default, the Titan 2 Elite features the Dimensity 7400, a 4 nm chipset that we have already tested inside the Doogee S200 UltraMotorola Edge 60 Neo and the Motorola Razr 60 (curr. $599 on Amazon). According to our benchmarks, this chipset should give the Titan 2 Elite a modest performance improvement over its Dimensity 7300-backed predecessor.

Incidentally, the company has also announced a surprise Titan 2 Elite Pro with a more powerful chipset, full details of which we have covered separately. Unihertz equips the standard Titan 2 Elite with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage, plus 32 MP front-facing cameras and dual 50 MP rear-facing cameras. The Titan 2 Elite initially started at $349 but has already risen to $369. Pricing will rise to $389 once Unihertz has exhausted its Early Bird allocation, though. Kickstarter orders should begin shipping in June 2026.
