Xiaomi has revealed that it will be refreshing one of its popular smartphone series soon with a new model. Available before the end of the month, the Redmi Note 15 5G Special Edition should boast a luxurious finish too.

The Redmi Note 15 series has been around for a while now. Introduced last August in China, the series then arrived four months later elsewhere. Incidentally, Xiaomi used its global rollout to launch dedicated 4G models too in the Redmi Note 15 4G and Redmi Note 15 Pro 4G.

Now, the company has teased that a new edition is on the cards. By the looks of things, Xiaomi's Special Edition model is only a visual refresh of the existing Redmi Note 15 5G (curr. $275 on Amazon). Not only that, but the new release bears more than a passing resemblance to the New Year Cherry Red edition that is already sold in China.

Currently, Xiaomi implies that the Redmi Note 15 5G Special Edition will be exclusive to China. As far as we can tell, the Special Edition variant could arrive as 'Crimson Reserve' from the wording of Xiaomi's teaser website.
