Dell launches new mini-PC with up to 64 GB RAM and Intel Panther Lake

Dell has launched multiple Panther Lake-based devices today, including a Tandem OLED-backed 14-inch laptop. Additionally, the company has updated its Pro 5 Micro mini-PC. Closely resembling the Pro Micro QCM1250 (curr. $849.99 on Amazon), the Pro 5 Micro (PCM1260) packs plenty of performance into its 182 x 178 x 36 mm housing.
For instance, the Pro 5 Micro will be available with up to 64 GB of DDR5 RAM running at 5,600 MT/s, 6,400 MT/s or 7,200 MT/s. Dell has complemented these SO-DIMM slots with dual M.2 2280 slots too that accept PCIe 4.0 storage. Also, the new mini-PC features an M.2 2230 slot, which will be pre-populated by Bluetooth 5.3/Wi-Fi 6E or Bluetooth 6.0/Wi-Fi 7 compatible modems.
Also, Dell plans to sell the Pro 5 Micro with the 8-core Core Ultra 5 335 vPro or the 16-core Core Ultra 7 366H vPro. On top of that, the mini-PC can be powered by a 4.5 mm barrel connection delivering 90 W or a 100 W-capable USB Type-C adapter. Dell will officially release the Pro 5 Micro on March 31 in the US. Pricing remains unknown for now, though. Dell's tiny mini-PC will ship with the following ports:

- 1x DC power input
- 1x DisplayPort 1.4a
- 1x HDMI 2.1
- 1x Gigabit Ethernet
