Aoostar releases new mini-PC featuring OCuLink with global launch confirmed

Almost six months have passed since Aoostar released its first Maco-branded mini-PC globally. Equipped with the Ryzen 7 H 255 or the Ryzen 7 8845HS, the Maco also featured an OCuLink port for eGPU expansion when configured with the latter APU.
Shortly afterwards, Aoostar refreshed the Mac with the cheaper Ryzen 7 Pro 6850H (curr. $319 on Amazon). Now, it has updated the Maco again with the Maco 470. As its name suggests, the new mini-PC leverages AMD's Ryzen AI 9 HX 470 APU from its Gorgon Point generation.
According to our benchmarks, the Ryzen AI 9 HX 470 delivers minor gains over the older Ryzen AI 9 HX 370. For instance, Aoostar has taken advantage of the new APU's support for LPDDR5-8533 RAM. The Maco 470 does not miss out on OCuLink connectivity either, which Aoostar places on the mini-PC's left-hand side.
Currently, the Maco 470 retails for CNY 6,699 (~$969) in China with 32 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage. Aoostar has confirmed that the Maco 470 will receive a global release later this year too. Unfortunately, it has not shared pricing or availability for other markets yet.
