Panther Lake-equipped GMKtec Evo-T2 launches with powerful Intel Arc B390 iGPU

GMKtec is taking pre-orders for the Panther Lake-equipped Evo-T2. This mini PC was initially introduced in September 2025, and later, it was showcased at CES 2026. As the company previously confirmed, the system is set to be available with two Intel Panther Lake CPU options.
However, for the first batch, only the Intel Core Ultra X7 358H is available for the Evo-T2. This is an upper-end option in the lineup, featuring 16 cores and an Intel Arc B390 iGPU. Per our tests, this integrated GPU can deliver performance close to the Nvidia RTX 4050 Laptop GPU.
For those who might need even more GPU power, there's an OCuLink port, which brings high-performance eGPU support. Speaking of which, in addition to the OCuLink port, the mini PC has the following:
- 2x USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A
- 3x USB 2.0 Type-A
- 2x USB4
- 2x 3.5 mm audio
- 1x HDMI
- 1x DisplayPort
- 1x 2.5G Ethernet
- 1x 10G Ethernet
There's WiFi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 for wireless connectivity. GMK also notes that the dual-fan cooling setup of the mini PC can make it deliver a peak performance of 60 W without getting too loud. Other highlights include 64 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and support for up to 16 TB of storage through the two 2280 M.2 slots (2 TB Kingston NV3 curr. $305 on Amazon).
The company is offering the mini PC with a starting price of $1,899 during the pre-order phase, which is set to start on March 30, 2026, at 3 PM UTC. This launch price is higher than that of the Strix Halo-powered Evo-X2, but GMK has raised the price of the latter, which makes the Evo-T2 cheaper.
A $60 discount is available for those who subscribe to the company's newsletter, and it's worth noting that only 50 units will be up for grabs in the first batch. Another thing to note is that the company has not shared when the Core Ultra X9 388H configuration will go on sale, but given the current condition of the market, this top-end config is not expected to launch anytime soon.
