Gigabyte quietly debuts AMD Gorgon Point-powered Brix mini PC

Gigabyte has quietly put up the spec sheet page of an AMD Gorgon Point-equipped Brix mini PC. The model that has gone online is GB-BRR7-450, and while there are no specific CPU options mentioned, the company has confirmed that the system will be powered by the AMD Ryzen 400 series processors.
The model number of the mini PC that got listed suggests that it will be powered by the Ryzen 7 450, a capable processor from the Gorgon Point lineup. However, if Gigabyte makes this version of the Brix mini PC stand as an alternative to the recently announced Panther Lake model, it will likely be offered with upper-end processor options as well, such as the AI 9 HX 470.
Nonetheless, the spec sheet discloses that there will be support for up to 96GB of DDR5 RAM, and the mini PC will feature two 2280 M.2 slots for storage. Of course, one of the two is a PCIe Gen4x4 slot, while the other is a Gen5x4 slot. There's also a decent selection of ports, including:
- 3x USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A
- 2x USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C
- 1x USB4
- 1x USB 2.0 Type-A
- 2x HDMI
- 1x 2.5G Ethernet
- 1x 3.5mm audio
With the USB4 port, this mini PC gains eGPU support, but it would've been better to see an OCuLink port (Aoostar AG02 dock curr. $229 on Amazon). Gigabyte also mentions that the mini PC has a slim design and there's VESA support. Price and availability details are yet to emerge, but given that the spec sheet is already online, these pieces of information should emerge soon.
