New PlayStation Plus April 2026 free game leaks ahead of schedule

Billbil_kun has shared new details about Sony's plans for its PlayStation Plus (PS Plus) free game refresh. Last week, the leaker claimed that Sony would be adding Lords of the Fallen to its PS Plus platform (curr. $14.99 on Amazon). Currently, the company has not announced anything since.
Nonetheless, billbil_kun now claims to have unearthed information about a second upcoming free game. Writing on Dealabs, the leaker reports that Sword Art Online: Fractured Daydream will be joining Lords of the Fallen, too. A competitive online and offline RPG, Sword Art Online: Fractured Daydream averages 70/100 from critics on OpenCritic, although only 32% of critics recommend the game.
Similarly, the game's PS5 release maintains a 68/100 Metascore with a slightly 7.1/10 user score on Metacritic. Billbil_kun expects Sony to officially announce its next batch of PS Plus free games on April 1. However, Sword Art Online: Fractured Daydream and Lords of the Fallen may be unable to claim until April 7. These games should be available until May 5 at around 08:00 UTC.
