Crimson Desert led Asia’s PS5 charts in March 2026

Sony published its latest PlayStation Store download charts for Southeast Asia, with Crimson Desert finishing March as the top PS5 download in the Asia ranking. In the same regional post, Sony says Red Dead Redemption 2 led PS4 downloads, Beat Saber topped the PS VR2 list, and The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin was the most-downloaded free-to-play title across PS5 and PS4 in Asia.

The update appeared on PlayStation Blog on April 5 under Sony’s Southeast Asia feed, covering March 2026 download activity. While the post is regional, the actual rankings shown are split into US/Canada and Asia columns rather than a separate Southeast Asia-only chart.

Crimson Desert moves to the top of the Asia PS5 list

On PS5, Crimson Desert took first place in Asia, ahead of Resident Evil Requiem in second and EA Sports FC 26 in third. Sony’s list also places It Takes Two, Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection, MLB The Show 26, NBA 2K26, Gran Turismo 7, Forza Horizon 5, and Resident Evil 3 inside the regional top 10.

That marks a change from February, when Resident Evil Requiem held the top PS5 position in Asia on Sony’s previous monthly chart. In March, Resident Evil Requiem remained near the top, but Crimson Desert moved ahead of it following its release.

Red Dead Redemption 2 still leads PS4, while Beat Saber tops PS VR2

Sony’s March chart shows Red Dead Redemption 2 staying in first place on PS4 in Asia. It is followed by Marvel’s Spider-Man Game of the Year Edition, Assassin’s Creed Unity, Watch Dogs 2, and Shadow of the Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition. Further down the list are Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, Resident Evil 6, Metal Slug 3, God of War Ragnarök, and EA Sports FC 26.

For PS VR2, Beat Saber took the top spot in Asia, ahead of Horizon Call of the Mountain in second and Moss: Book II in third. Sony’s top 10 also includes Alien: Rogue Incursion VR, Hubris, Angry Birds VR: Isle of Pigs, Maestro, Moss, Arizona Sunshine Remake, and Metro Awakening.

The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin tops free-to-play in Asia

In the free-to-play category, Sony says The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin led the Asia chart in March. Where Winds Meet (F2P) came second, followed by Delta Force (F2P), eFootball, and Roblox. The rest of the top 10 included PUBG: Battlegrounds, Asphalt Legends, Arknights: Endfield, Genshin Impact, and Fall Guys.

For Sony’s Asia rankings, March was led by a mix of large open-world releases, long-running catalog titles, and established free-to-play games rather than one single genre dominating every chart.
