Colorful or more understated? The Motorola Edge 70 Fusion gives you plenty of options
Colorful or more understated? The Motorola Edge 70 Fusion gives you plenty of options
The Motorola Edge 70 Fusion shows how flexible a mid-range smartphone can be today, as color, battery size, and storage configuration can all be chosen based on individual needs. Our summary of the test results explains which version is worth considering and where the limitations are.

The Motorola Edge 70 Fusion is no longer just a premium mid-range phone. It is also very slim and can be customized in several ways.

Many colors for different occasions

The smartphone stands out with its quad-curved design, with display glass extending over the edges, and a textured rear panel with either a nylon-like or linen-like finish. It is available in four Pantone color options: Orient Blue, Silhouette, Sporting Green, and Country Air.

The Country Air colorway is exclusive to the version with the smaller battery. The materials feel premium and provide a pleasant in-hand feel.
The different color options make it possible to choose either a more understated or a more eye-catching look.

Battery options

The Edge 70 Fusion comes in two battery sizes: 5,200mAh or 7,000mAh. Both support charging at up to 68 watts.
The choice between the two batteries allows buyers to tailor the phone to their needs, whether they prefer a thinner and lighter design or longer battery life.

Different storage configurations

The following storage configurations are available internationally:

  • 8GB RAM / 128GB storage

  • 8GB RAM / 256GB storage

  • 12GB RAM / 256GB storage

The two 256GB storage variants are the most widely available in some markets. Storage expansion via microSD is not supported.

A customizable smartphone

The Motorola Edge 70 Fusion is a versatile mid-range smartphone that stands out for how configurable it is. With a wide range of color options, two battery sizes, and multiple storage configurations, it gives users the ability to tailor the device to their own preferences.

Despite some drawbacks such as the plastic frame and the lack of microSD expansion, the Edge 70 Fusion is a strong option in the mid-range segment, currently selling for around €400 in Europe. We have summarized more details about this configurable smartphone in our detailed review.
