The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin launch issues include severe audio disruption

Netmarble has published an official Version 1.0 Known Issues notice for The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin, confirming that the newly released game is dealing with multiple launch problems as Early Play continues on PS5 and Steam. In the Steam announcement, the company says it is investigating the causes of the issues, working on fixes, and will keep updating the notice as additional problems are identified or resolved.
The official launch window is still split across platforms. Netmarble opened Early Play for PlayStation 5 and Steam on March 16, 2026, while the broader Grand Launch for iOS, Android, and Google Play Games is scheduled for March 23, 2026. That means the current bug reports are surfacing during the game’s first playable week on console and PC rather than after the full mobile rollout.
Audio problems are now part of the launch conversation
One of the more noticeable issues involves sound. Our screenshot shows an in-game notice stating that “sound may not play properly in certain situations.” That matches player complaints now appearing in Steam discussions around the launch build.
In one Steam thread, a player reported that background music worked, but voices and sound effects were muffled, while another said the game had no sound after the company intro. Those reports do not amount to a full technical diagnosis, but they do line up with the in-game warning and suggest the audio problem is affecting more than one setup.
The official notice covers broader stability concerns
Netmarble’s Steam notice confirms that the known issues list extends beyond audio. The currently indexed version of the announcement shows the company tracking at least one problem where joining a party may fail under certain conditions. Netmarble says players who still cannot continue after reconnecting should contact customer support, underscoring that some issues may not be resolved through a simple restart.
For now, the official message from Netmarble is that fixes are in progress, and the Version 1.0 known-issues post will remain the main reference point for updates. With the mobile launch still days away, the studio has a short window to stabilize the release before The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin expands beyond PS5 and Steam.
