Crimson Desert's next update will add new special mounts and a highly requested feature

Ever since Crimson Desert was released, Pearl Abyss has continued rolling out new updates for the game. Most of these patches have focused on adding features, improving equipment systems, fixing bugs, and improving the overall state of the game. Now, it looks like the next major update will introduce some important additions that many players have been waiting for.

In a recent message shared through the game’s official Discord server, the developers provided a small update regarding the next patch. While they did not reveal full patch notes or go into deep detail, they confirmed that the update is planned to arrive within the next few days.

The biggest addition mentioned so far is the arrival of new special mounts. The developers, however, have not yet revealed exactly what these mounts will look like or how players will obtain them. 

Aside from mounts, the update will also add an extraction feature tied to equipment refinement. Right now, when players use rare materials to refine or upgrade their armor and weapons, those materials become permanently attached to the equipment. If someone later decides to switch gear or replace an upgraded item, there is currently no way to recover those resources.

The upcoming extraction system is expected to finally solve that problem. Once the update arrives, players will be able to recover materials used during the refinement process instead of losing them forever.

At the moment, the developers have not shared an exact release date for the patch or full details about how the extraction system will work. However, since the update is expected within the next few days, players will likely see the full patch notes soon.
