Gigabyte quietly intros Panther Lake Brix mini PC with support for up to 128GB RAM

A Panther Lake variant of the Gigabyte Brix mini PC has been spotted on the official website. While the company has not formally introduced it, the initial page shows that the system will feature up to the Intel Core Ultra 9 386H, one of the top-end processors from the lineup.
However, this Panther Lake processor misses out on the Intel Arc B390, a very capable iGPU for the lineup. Instead, there's a 4-core Xe3 integrated GPU, but the interesting aspect of this Brix mini PC is that it has support for user-replaceable memory.
There are two slots that can be equipped with up to 128GB of DDR5 RAM, and as for storage, the mini PC has two M.2 slots. However, among the two, one is a PCIe Gen5x4, while the other is a Gen4x4 slot. The spec sheet highlights a decent port selection as well, including:
- 2x USB4 (Ugreen 40Gbps dock curr. $169.99 on Amazon)
- 3x USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A
- 1x USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C with PD
- 1x USB 2.0 Type-A
- 2x HDMI
- 1x RJ45
- 1x 3.5mm audio
Among the other notable aspects from the initial page are WiFi 7, 2.5GbE LAN, and a slim chassis. The mini PC, with the model number GB-BRU9-386H, isn't available to purchase yet, and Gigabyte didn't share anything on the price and availability of the Panther Lake Brix yet. However, these details are expected to emerge soon.
