Dell launches new 14-inch laptop with Tandem OLED display and Intel Panther Lake

Dell has introduced numerous devices today, including a new Pro 14 Premium (PA14260). For context, the PA14260 replaces last year's PA14250 variants (curr. $2,059 on Amazon), which landed during CES 2025 with Intel Lunar Lake processors.
By contrast, the PA14260 switches to the newer Panther Lake platform with Core Ultra 5 335 vPro, Core Ultra 365 vPro, Core Ultra 5 336H vPro and Core Ultra 7 366H vPro options. While the four processors differ in terms of core counts, cache levels and TDPs, they all feature a 4-core Xe3 iGPU. Seemingly, these four processors can be complemented by up to 2 TB of storage and 64 GB of LPDDR5X-8533 dual-channel RAM too.
Additionally, Dell mentions Bluetooth and Wi-Fi 7 (BE211) connectivity plus 5G mobile broadband via the Snapdragon X72 modem. The company adds that only China will receive SKUs with physical SIM card slots; all other markets will support eSIM functionality instead. Also, the new Dell Pro 14 Premium boasts the following display options:
- 1,920 x 1,200 (WUXGA) non-touch, 16:10, 400 nits, 45% NTSC, Anti-Glare, no pen support, no cover glass
- 1,920 x 1,200 (WUXGA) non-touch, 16:10, 500 nits, 100% sRGB, Anti-Glare, no pen support, no cover glass
- 2,560 x 1,600 (WQXGA) touchscreen, 16:10, 400 nits, 100% sRGB, Anti-Glare, no pen support, no cover glass
- 2,560 x 1,600 (WQXGA) Tandem OLED touchscreen, 16:10, 400 nits, 100% DCI-P3, no pen support, Corning Gorilla cover glass
Moreover, Dell will sell the PA14260 with 40 Wh and 60 Wh batteries, both within a package that measures 311.2 x 21.67 x 19.85 mm and starts at 1.15 kg. The Pro 14 Premium will be available on March 31 in the US. Dell has not confirmed pricing for any markets yet, though.
