Xiaomi releases new budget monitor globally with major upgrades over older model

Xiaomi has finally released one of its cheapest monitors globally. To recap, the company presented the Monitor A24i 2026 in December 2025. At the time, Xiaomi only added the monitor to its global website.
Now, it has released that same monitor across Europe and Southeast Asia. To recap, Xiaomi's 2026 model replaces the original Monitor A24i that arrived around two years ago (curr. $94.99 on Amazon). While the new model maintains a 1,920 x 1,080-pixel resolution across its 24.1-inch IPS panel, it departs from its predecessor in several areas.

For one, Xiaomi has increased the monitor's refresh rate from 100 Hz to 144 Hz. Colour accuracy and vibrancy have improved too, with a 1,500:1 contrast ratio and Delta E <1 factory colour calibration. Peak brightness has also increased from 250 nits to 300 nits, although this means that the Monitor A24i 2026 falls short of supporting HDR content.
Xiaomi charges €109 (~$125) for the Monitor A24i 2026 in Germany but €99.99 (~$115) in Italy. Meanwhile, Czechia has received the same monitor for CZK 1,899 (~$90). Similarly, Xiaomi has priced the Monitor A24i 2026 at MYR 359 (~$90) in Malaysia.
