Dell introduces new ultra-wide office monitor with built-in webcam

Dell has announced the Dell Pro P34 USB-C Hub Webcam Monitor, a well-equipped display that integrates a built-in webcam. The webcam offers a 4‑megapixel resolution and can record video at up to 30 frames per second, with support for Windows Hello facial recognition. The monitor features a resolution of 3,440 × 1,440 pixels and a refresh rate of 100 Hz and is clearly aimed at productivity rather than gaming. Its gray-to-gray response time is specified at 8 milliseconds in fast mode.
The display uses an IPS panel with a typical brightness of 350 cd/m² and covers 99% of the sRGB color space, according to Dell. It has a subtle 3,800R curvature, providing a gently curved viewing experience.
Connectivity options include HDMI, DisplayPort, and USB‑C, with the USB‑C port supporting both video input and up to 90 W of power delivery. The integrated USB hub offers two USB‑A ports with data transfer speeds up to 5 Gbit/s, and there is also a Gigabit Ethernet port.
The monitor, listed under the model number P3426WEV, is available now for $730.
A possible, more affordable alternative could be the Philips 34E1C5600HE (available at Amazon)
