Xiaomi releases new 4K gaming monitor with special 320 Hz mode

Xiaomi has updated its gaming monitor line-up again with a new 27-inch and 4K model. To recap, the company introduced multiple models last week. Now, it has refreshed the Redmi Monitor G27U with a 2026 edition. Incidentally, the first Redmi Monitor G27U launched less than a year ago.
Setting that aside, the Redmi Monitor G27U 2026 retains the Dual Mode technology from last year's model. By default, Xiaomi's new monitor outputs at 4K and 160 Hz across its 27-inch IPS panel. Alternatively, the monitor can drop its resolution to 1080p, which unlocks a 320 Hz refresh rate mode. For reference, these resolution and refresh rate combinations are already available inside monitors like the ROG Strix XG27UCG (curr. $414 on Amazon).
Xiaomi has not confirmed all the differences between its 2025 and 2026 editions. By the looks of things, Xiaomi has included a newer stand, as well as an updated rear design. This year's version should retain its predecessor's DisplayPort 2.1 (54 Gbps) and HDMI 2.1 ports, though. Xiaomi has priced the Redmi Monitor G27U 2026 at CNY 1,499 (~$220) for a CNY 100 (~$15) saving on the 2025 edition.
