Asus launches new 240 Hz professional OLED monitor with TB4 and 12G-SDI

Asus has returned to its ProArt series with a new release. For context, the company started selling the ProArt PX13 globally in March with the same AMD Strix Halo APU that powers the latest ROG Flow Z13. Now, it has expanded its professional portfolio with a new monitor.
Specifically, it has launched the ProArt Display OLED PA32USD with a 4K native resolution (3,840 x 2,160). The PA32USD also delivers a 240 Hz refresh rate and 0.1 ms GtG response times, unlike many professional monitors. Asus mentions 250 nits SDR and 1,000 nits HDR peak brightness values, which are in line with other recent 32-inch QD-OLED monitor releases.
Likewise, the PA32USD boasts 99% DCI-P3 colour space coverage with ΔE <1 colour calibration. However, Asus has included a built-in colourimeter that can automatically calibrate the monitor as needed without needing any additional hardware or software. Not only that, but the PA32USD features dual Serial Digital Interface (SDI) ports operating at 12 GB/s to transmit uncompressed 4K/60 Hz videos.
The PA32USD offers native Windows and macOS support too, as well as DisplayPort 2.1 and Thunderbolt 4 ports spread across its left and right-hand sides. Pricing and availability remain unknown for now; the older PA32UCDM initially launched for $1,899 though (curr. $1,399 on Amazon). Please see Asus' website for more details about its latest professional OLED monitor.
