Asus could release an iPad Pro-like tablet with an OLED and 144 Hz refresh rate

Asus could be working on a new Android tablet, expanding its limited portfolio. The company has not shared any information, but a new leak shows the design and some of the expected specifications. It looks like a more modern and refined tablet compared to what Asus has previously offered in its ZenPad series, which hasn’t been updated for quite a while.
The information comes from Android Headlines and shows a sleek and clean-looking tablet with a single camera on the back. The front appears to be flat, but the back is slightly rounded at the edges, which would make it more comfortable to hold. The publication states it will be called the Asus Pad and feature a 12.2-inch dual-layer OLED display with 144 Hz refresh rate. It should be noted that the publication doesn't mention what OS it will run, but Android seems to be most likely.
The Asus Pad is said to be backed by a 9,000 mAh battery with support for fast charging, though it is unclear how fast exactly. It is going to be just 6.5 mm thick and weigh 523 grams, and that’s with stereo speakers and Dolby Atmos support. Asus will also be selling a case to go with the tablet, and it is reportedly a multifunctional case that doubles as a kickstand.
That’s about all the information there is on the rumored Asus Pad. The processor, RAM, and storage configurations, pricing, and availability are a mystery at this point.
