Asus releases new 14-inch lightweight laptop globally with OLED display and 70 Wh battery

Asus has now expanded availability of its new Zenbook A14 to more markets. To recap, the company released Snapdragon X2-powered models earlier this week in the US. Initially sold for $1,149, Asus quickly confirmed new pricing that saw the cost of this year's model jump by over 17%.
As a result, last year's Zenbook A14 (curr. $769 on Amazon) is now considerably cheaper than its successor. By contrast, the latter has not experienced any immediate price rises in other markets. For instance, Asus is still selling its new Zenbook A14 for £1,599 in the UK including VAT (~$1,785), which includes 16 GB of RAM, a 1 TB SSD and a Zebriskie Beige colour.
By contrast, the Zenbook A14 has reached the Eurozone for €1,999 (~$1,945) including taxes. While more expensive than in the UK, this SKU includes 32 GB of RAM while retaining an identical Snapdragon X2 Elite X2E-88-100 chipset. Currently, this latter SKU is sold in Australia for AUD 3,699 (~$2,365). However, Asus is also offering a 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage variant finished in Iceland Grey for AUD 3,499 (~$2,235).
