The ongoing DRAM and storage pricing crisis has spelled doom for a whole bunch of bargain hunters looking for exciting deals. However, folks who look hard enough can still stumble across offers which can help them save quite a bit of money.
For instance, the well-equipped Lenovo Yoga Tab Plus is now available with a sizable $265 discount on Lenovo's official US online store, bringing its price down to just $534.99. In order to take full advantage of the deal, customers are requested to utilize the following coupon: "BUYMORELENOVO".
This specific variant ships with 16 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256 GB of UFS 4.0 storage.
The Yoga Tab Plus comes with a keyboard and stylus
The tablet also comes with a set of accessories aimed at making it even more productive. For instance, the provided stylus offers a total of 4,096 pressure levels and also supports tilt sensitivity. A keyboard is also offered with a trackpad that offers multi-touch gesture support.
The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC is quite potent, but it's nowhere near modern-day flagships. For instance, the M4-powered Apple iPad Air is over twice as fast. That said, for the majority of day-to-day tasks and even some moderately intensive workloads, the tablet is unlikely to break a sweat.
The Lenovo Yoga Tab Plus tablet makes up for it with its large 12.7-inch display, which offers a 144Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 2944 by 1840, allowing for a pretty sharp pixel density of 273 PPI. Needless to say, OLED panels will obviously remain far better, offering true blacks and instantaneous response times. Our in-depth review of the tablet revealed pretty decent display performance, with the panel hitting around 726 nits of peak brightness.
In smaller areas, brightness even exceeded 905 nits, which makes for a pretty decent HDR viewing experience. We also found that the panel covers a whopping 98.5% of the sRGB color gamut, although its accuracy performance leaves a lot to be desired.
At its current price, there is no denying that the Yoga Tab Plus from Lenovo offers a great bang for the buck, considering the insanity surrounding memory and storage prices. Interested folks are definitely advised to check out our detailed review of the tablet before pulling the trigger.
