OnePlus has launched a new high-end Android tablet in India. Equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, the OnePlus Pad 4 also contains a 144 Hz display that delivers up to 1,000 nits peak brightness. OnePlus has confirmed pricing and availability, too.

OnePlus has launched various devices in the last few days. For instance, the company presented the Ace 6 Ultra smartphone in China on April 28. At the same time, it unveiled the Strix G15 controller with expanded compatibility planned in June.

Shortly afterwards, Oppo is said to have merged OnePlus with Realme in China and elsewhere. Nonetheless, OnePlus has now launched a new high-end tablet. Exclusive to India for the time being, the new OnePlus Pad 4 is effectively a rebadged Oppo Pad 5 Pro, just like the Pad 4 Pro and the OnePlus Pad 3 before it (curr. $699 on Amazon).

In other words, the OnePlus Pad 4 combines a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset with a 13,380 mAh battery. However, the Pad 4 can recharge its battery at up to 19% faster than its Oppo counterpart thanks to 80 W wired charging support. Additionally, OnePlus includes a 13.2-inch IPS display that resolves at 3,392 x 2,400 pixels with a 144 Hz refresh rate and 1,000 nits peak brightness.

The Pad 4 starts at INR 59,999 (~$630) with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage in a choice between Dune Glow and Sage Mist colours. Alternatively, OnePlus has priced 12 GB RAM and 512 GB storage variants at INR 64,999 (~$683). Open sales will begin in India on May 5. OnePlus has not confirmed availability in other markets yet, though.
