OnePlus launches new affordable phone with 144Hz display
Following the launch of the flagship OnePlus Pad 4, the company has introduced a new Nord series smartphone in India. The Nord CE6 Lite is a more affordable alternative to the Nord CE6.
Key highlights of the Nord CE6 Lite
The Nord CE6 Lite comes with a 6.72-inch LCD panel that supports a resolution of 1,080 x 2,400 pixels. The display features a 144Hz refresh rate and 800 nits of typical brightness.
The smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Apex chipset, supporting 5G connectivity. The company claims an AnTuTu score of more than 1.03 million points. The phone comes with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage (expandable up to 2TB via a microSD card).
The Nord CE6 Lite sports a 50MP main camera and an 8MP front camera. Notably, the rear camera supports 4K video recording at 30fps. The phone features a 7,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging. In terms of software, the phone comes out of the box with OxygenOS 16 based on Android 16. However, it lacks NFC support. Further details are available on the official OnePlus website.
Memory configurations and pricing
The OnePlus Nord CE6 Lite comes in three memory configurations: 6GB/128GB, 8GB/128GB, and 8GB/256GB. These are priced at INR 20,999 (~$222), INR 22,999 (~$243), and INR 25,999 (~$275), respectively. The phone comes in Hyper Black and Vivid Mint color options. Sales begin on May 12 in India, though OnePlus has not yet revealed availability in other regions.
