Vivo X500 series makes first appearance with three models

The Vivo X300 series is a flagship camera-centric lineup of smartphones. In October 2025, the company introduced the lineup with two models: the standard Vivo X300 and X300 Pro. Subsequently, the brand launched the X300s, X300 Ultra, and X300 FE.
Now, the next-generation flagship series has made its first appearance on the GSMA IMEI database. As previously speculated, Vivo may be skipping the X400 series and jumping to the X500 series, since the number 4 is considered a bad omen in Chinese culture.
Three Vivo X500 series models have been listed on the GSMA's database: the Vivo X500, the Vivo X500 Pro, and the Vivo X500e. However, the listings do not reveal any specifications or other details about the devices.
According to a previous leak, the Vivo X500 and the Vivo X500 Pro may use the next-generation MediaTek Dimensity 9600-series chipsets. The lineup may also see battery upgrades, with capacities reportedly reaching 7,000mAh.
The X500 series may use a Zeiss-tuned camera system, along with LOFIC technology to improve dynamic range. So far, Vivo has not revealed any information regarding its next-generation flagship series. However, it is expected to launch in Q4 2026.
