Vivo silently launches compact X300 FE with Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, large battery, and more

Vivo has silently launched the X300 FE in Russia, and it's not an entirely new phone. Instead, it's a rebadged version of the S50 Pro mini that launched in China in December 2025. The rebranded variant, however, appears to be targeting regions outside China, and the Russian market happens to be the first one to get it.
There aren't any major spec changes when compared to the China-exclusive S50 Pro mini. The Vivo X300 FE features the same non-Elite Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, which is paired with 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage. The camera setup remains the same as well.
More specifically, the back of the Vivo X300 FE has a 50MP primary, 50MP periscope telephoto with 3x optical zoom, and 8MP ultrawide. These cameras are housed within an iPhone Air-like camera plateau, and as for the front, there's a 50MP selfie camera.
Speaking of the front, the Vivo X300 FE features a compact 6.31-inch AMOLED screen. This display has an FHD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a 5,000-nit peak brightness rating. A relatively large 6,500mAh Si/C battery powers the internals of the phone, and there's support for 40W wireless and 90W wired fast charging (4-port Lenovo 100W charger curr. $44.99 on Amazon).
The Vivo X300 FE is available in three colorways, and while it's not available on the official store yet, Russian retailers have put it up for RUB 60,124 for the base model. That's around $772, and even though the company didn't list it in other regions, it's expected to enter more markets soon.
