Nubia Fold to launch globally as book-style foldable half the price of the Galaxy Z Fold7

Nubia first unveiled the Nubia Fold back in December. The foldable debuted as the company's first book-style foldable following the assumed success of the Nubia Flip series. The Nubia Fold was only launched in Japan at the time but looks set to hit the global market eventually.
As revealed by Roland Quandt of Winfuture, Nubia is preparing the Nubia Fold to launch globally towards the end of the year—potentially even as late as December. The foldable phone, much like its Flip sibling, will debut as a more affordable option in the segment, with the source indicating a potential MSRP in the region of €1,000. In comparison, the Galaxy Z Fold7 starts at €2,099 in Europe.
Seeing as it already went on sale in Japan months ago, the Nubia Fold is a known quantity. It features an 8-inch AMOLED main display and a 6.5-inch secondary display. Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite provides computing power, and the foldable came standard with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage in the Japanese market. Other specifications include a 6,560 mAh battery, 55 W wired charging, a 50 MP main camera, 50 MP ultra-wide snapper, 5 MP macro lens, a 20 MP selfie shooter, and a fingerprint reader baked into the power button.
