Official: Vivo confirms X200 Ultra and X300 Pro compatibility for new X300 Ultra surpassing accessories

Vivo is continuing to showcase the X300 Ultra this week at MWC 2026 in Barcelona. Initially, the company shared a teaser video highlighting the device's advanced teleconverter accessory. Shortly afterwards, Ben Sin published a short hands-on video in which he provided more information about the accessory's 400 mm lens.
Unfortunately, prior claims that this teleconverter would feature a dual lens solution were inaccurate. Instead, Vivo is showcasing two teleconverters at MWC 2026, one offering 2.35x zoom and the other 4.7x zoom. While the former is physically smaller than those that Vivo sells for the X200 Ultra and X300 Pro, it should remain compatible with both existing smartphones.
The X300 Ultra's camera cage provides cross-compatibility with the X300 Pro as well, as demonstrated in one image below. Moreover, the X300 Ultra can be paired with existing 2.35x teleconverters, too. Unfortunately, it is unclear at this stage whether Vivo's new 4.7x teleconverter will work with the X200 Ultra or X300 Pro.
Setting that aside, Vivo has confirmed that the X300 Ultra can capture 4K/120 FPS videos in Dolby Vision and 10-bit D-Log. Also, the company has optically stabilised (OIS) all rear cameras just like the X200 Ultra before it, and to match the Galaxy S26 Ultra (curr. $1,299 on Amazon). TÜV Rheinland has confirmed that the X300 Ultra supports 100 W wired charging globally too, giving Vivo's next flagship an advantage over Samsung's equivalent. A precise release date remains unknown at this stage, though.
