Vivo X300 Ultra: Early hands-on video showcases Zeiss zoom flagship in greater detail

After Vivo manager Han Boxiao shared the first images of the Vivo X300 Ultra on Weibo in the early hours of MWC’s opening day, additional photos have now surfaced alongside a teaser video that offers a closer look at the flagship phone and its new 400 mm teleconverter.
First Vivo X300 Ultra hands-on video released
Going one step further, well-known YouTuber Ben Sin became the first international reviewer to discuss his hands-on impressions of the 2026 Zeiss-branded camera flagship, though Vivo appears to have prevented him from disclosing detailed specifications – likely because the device is not set to release in China until later this month, with a global launch expected in April 2026.
In the short video, Ben demonstrated the teleconverter, officially branded “Zeiss Telephoto Extender Gen 2 Ultra”, and confirmed a 17x zoom that optically extends the X300 Ultra’s telephoto lens from 85 mm to 400 mm. Paired with the teleconverter, the X300 Ultra can achieve 800 mm using in-sensor cropping while maintaining very usable image quality – a focal range unmatched by any current smartphone. It remains unclear whether more information, including photos taken without the camera kit, will be revealed during Mobile World Congress.
