Vivo X300 Ultra: Vivo finally adopts the modern standard for its flagship smartphone

The Vivo X300 Ultra is a top-tier flagship smartphone that boasts even more advanced technical specs than the Vivo X300 Pro. In particular, the Zeiss camera with its dual 200 MP setup delivers impressive results.
For those who don't want to spend €2,000 on Vivo's high-end phone, importing it from China might be a suitable alternative to the globally available model. The X300 Ultra starts at around €930 in its base configuration from our loan provider, Trading Shenzhen. You can find a comparison between the two models in this review summary of the Vivo X300 Ultra.
Android smartphone with power adapter included as an accessory, but not available in Europe
As soon as you open the box, the heavy weight makes it clear that Vivo has included a fast-charging power adapter with its X300 Ultra, at least for the Chinese model of the flagship phone. The FlashCharge power adapter included with our test unit supports charging power of up to 100 watts and weighs about 117 grams.
In Europe, a compatible charger must be purchased separately. Regardless of whether it's a global or Chinese version, the Vivo X300 Ultra also comes with a protective case. Our black version also has a black case.
A welcome upgrade is that Vivo has now opted for a modern solution for the charging and data cable connection. Unlike the Vivo X300 Pro, the included cable uses a USB-C connector – a long overdue step considering that many modern laptops rely exclusively on USB-C and often no longer have a USB-A port.
