Acer launches new Android tablet with 5G connectivity

Last year, Acer launched the Iconia Tab iM11 with a Helio G99 processor and 4G connectivity. Now, the company has introduced a new tablet in the Indian market: the Acer Iconia iM11-22M5G.
The Acer Iconia iM11-22M5G comes with an 11.45-inch IPS LCD panel supporting a resolution of 2,220 x 1,440 pixels. It has a maximum refresh rate of 90Hz and supports up to 450 nits of brightness. The tablet features a metal body that measures 7.85mm in thickness and weighs 535 grams.
Powering the tablet is the MediaTek 8791, an octa-core CPU based on a 6nm node. It features the Mali-G68 MC4 GPU, the same one used in the Dimensity 7050, a chip used in mid-range devices like the Lenovo Tab P12.
The tablet packs a 7,400mAh battery and supports 18W charging. It runs on Android 15, despite Android 16 being the latest version. The tablet features a dual rear camera setup comprising a 16MP main sensor and a 2MP macro sensor. On the front, there is an 8MP camera for selfies and video calls.
In terms of connectivity, the tablet supports 5G, 4G, Wi-Fi 6, and Bluetooth 5.2. Some notable features include stylus support, a fingerprint scanner, dual SIM support, and quad speakers.
The Acer Iconia iM11-22M5G comes with 8GB LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB of UFS 3.1 storage (expandable via a microSD card). According to Acer India's official website, the MRP of the tablet is ₹44,999 (~$476). However, it is currently being sold for Rs 25,499, which roughly translates to $270.
