OnePlus 16 leak reveals display and camera details

The OnePlus 16 is expected to launch in Q4 2026 as the company's next flagship smartphone. OnePlus has yet to confirm official details about the OnePlus 16. However, new leaks have surfaced, revealing a few alleged specifications of the device.
The OnePlus 16 was previously tipped to feature a display with up to a 240Hz refresh rate. According to Smart Pikachu on Weibo, the device is more likely to feature a 185Hz refresh rate than a 240Hz refresh rate.
The new leak also suggests narrow display bezels and a 200MP periscope telephoto camera with 3X optical zoom. The device may also feature a dedicated AI button, similar to the OnePlus 15 (curr. $899 on Amazon).
Separately, tipster Yogesh Brar on X has revealed that several next-generation Android flagship phones including the iQoo 16, may use a 200MP primary sensor. However, the OnePlus 16 may still use a 50MP main sensor.
Previous leaks suggest that the OnePlus 16 may also use a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro chipset and a circa 9,000mAh battery. Since the above information is based on leaks, take it with a pinch of salt. In other news, OnePlus is reportedly working on a new compact tablet with an OLED display.
