Oppo officially confirms new mid-range series as global launch window leaks

The Oppo Reno series is a mid-range lineup of smartphones. The Reno 15 series was launched in January 2026. The lineup includes multiple models such as the Reno 15, Reno 15 Pro, and Reno 15F. The company has now officially confirmed the new Reno 16 series in China.
On its official Weibo account, Oppo announced that pre-orders for the Reno 16 series are now open. The exact model names have not been revealed. However, leaks and rumors suggest that at least two models will be launched initially, including the standard Reno 16 and the Reno 16 Pro. The company has revealed that the series will launch in May 2026 in China.
Leaked details of the Oppo Reno 16 Pro's global model
Separately, tipster Yogesh Brar on X has shared a few details about the global variant of the Oppo Reno 16 Pro. The tipster suggests the device will feature a 6.32-inch OLED panel.
It may feature a triple rear camera setup with a 200MP main sensor. In terms of build, the phone may feature a glass back and an aluminum frame. The phone is expected to feature a square camera housing design similar to its predecessor. The source suggests the phone may debut globally in July or August.
