New affordable OnePlus phone officially detailed ahead of launch

OnePlus has confirmed it will launch two new Nord series smartphones in India on May 7. The company previously revealed the key highlights of the Nord CE6 and the Nord CE6 Lite. Now, more details about the latter have been disclosed.
The Nord CE6 Lite will be an affordable smartphone positioned in the sub-INR 25,000 (~$265) segment in India. It will feature a display with a refresh rate of 144Hz. Although it has not been revealed whether it will be an LCD or AMOLED panel, it is expected to be the latter.
The phone will be powered by the Dimensity 7400 Apex, an octa-core MediaTek chipset based on a 4-nanometer process. OnePlus revealed that it scores around 1.03 million points on the AnTuTu V11 benchmark, on a variant featuring 8GB of RAM and 256GB storage. The company claims that the device will support 90 FPS gameplay in BGMI and COD Mobile. Meanwhile, it will support 144 FPS in select titles, including Subway Surfers.
The OnePlus Nord CE6 Lite will pack a 7,000mAh battery (25K Ugreen powerbank curr. $62.68 on Amazon). According to the company, the battery is estimated to retain around 80% of its capacity after approximately 1,600 charge cycles.
Furthermore, the device is confirmed to feature a 50 MP main camera with 4K video recording support. It will be powered by OxygenOS 16 based on Android 16 out of the box. OnePlus has yet to confirm availability in other regions.
