OnePlus formally announces new power bank with 120W fast charging support

OnePlus has formally announced a new high-capacity portable charger with 120W fast charging support, the 120W SuperVOOC Power Bank. It was previously spotted on the company's Chinese online store, and now, the accessory has an official launch date.
This new 120W OnePlus power bank will launch alongside the company's new flagship smartphone, the Ace 6 Ultra. This brand-new gaming phone is set to launch on April 28, 2026, in China.
Alongside sharing the launch date, OnePlus has confirmed some of the core specs of the power bank. It's said to be the first to feature Oppo's "Ice Shield" safety battery cells, which promise stable operation in challenging conditions.
The company didn't mention whether the 120W fast charging support applies to devices other than the ones with SuperVOOC compatibility. OnePlus has, however, confirmed that the power bank can get the Ace 6 Ultra charged from 0% to 68% in around 30 minutes (6-feet 240W Anker Nano curr. $16.99 on Amazon).
Its 15,000mAh rated capacity is said to be enough to get most phones charged more than once. OnePlus notes that this new power bank can get the Ace 6 Ultra recharged 1.5 times, and the phone has an 8,600mAh battery.
Now, while the OnePlus charger has a large battery capacity, it's shown to be small enough to be easily carried. The official pictures also show a design that's identical to the recently launched Oppo Super Flash Charge power bank.
To be specific, it seems OnePlus is rebranding Oppo's version, which is a common practice across these brands. For those who missed it, the Oppo power bank has support for standard fast charging protocols, including PPS, PD 3.0, UFCS, and QC. It weighs around 0.68lbs (310 grams) and measures 105x70x29mm.
Oppo launched the power bank in China with a price tag of CNY 299, around $44. It's unclear what the launch price of the OnePlus variant will be, but it won't be much different.
