Oppo launches new ultra-thin Magnetic Ice Card Cooler

The Oppo Magnetic Ice Card Cooler has been launched in China. This accessory arrived alongside the Find X9 Ultra and several other gadgets like the SuperVOOC 120W Super Flash Charge Power Bank (15,000 mAh). It shares many similarities with the OnePlus Magnetic Ice Card Slim Cooler, released earlier this year.
Oppo’s Magnetic Ice Card Cooler is designed to cool a connected smartphone while gaming or streaming. Users can choose between two modes: Performance, reducing the risk of throttling, or Silent, for undisturbed live video streams with as little as 22 dB operating noise. According to the company, the curved design of the air ducts directs the airflow away from your hands. Plus, it uses magnets to connect to your smartphone, and is compatible with various iOS and Android devices.
Powered via USB-C, the Oppo Magnetic Ice Card Cooler has an ultra-thin white shell. At its thinnest, it measures 9.8 mm (~0.39 inches), and at its thickest, it measures 11.9 mm (~0.47 inches). It weighs 68 g (~2.4 oz), with its rectangular body measuring 87.7 x 62 mm (~3.45 x 2.44 inches).
In China, the Oppo Magnetic Ice Card Cooler retails for CNY 179 (~$26). While the company has hinted at a global launch, details of when this accessory could be released in other markets have yet to be confirmed.
