Oppo unveils new earbuds with unique design and dual drivers

Oppo has shown off a new pair of TWS earbuds alongside the Find X9 Ultra and Watch X3. The Oppo Enco Clip 2 is marketed as a lifestyle product rather than a high-end audio solution, as implied by Oppo calling its design 'fashion forward'. While it might seem uncomfortable at first, Oppo claims its nickel-titanium alloy adapts to ear shapes while maintaining structural integrity.
Aesthetics notwithstanding, you get a decent pair of earbuds for your money. The Oppo Enco Clip 2 comes with two drivers: 11 mm and 9 mm. Both come with an individual DAC and are tuned by Dynaudio. It also has a bone-conducting VPU mic that suppresses noise with the power of AI. Oppo offers the earbuds in two colourways: Luminous Gold and Slate Grey.
Oppo hasn't made any battery life claims for the Enco Clip 2, but if its predecessor is anything to go by, 9 hours per earbud seems a plausible figure and 40 hours with the charging case included. Each bud has a 58 mAh battery, and the case packs a 530 mAh cell, giving you about 4-5 charges. At 5.2 grams each, the Clip 2 is one of the lighter earbuds on the market. It also has IP55 water and dust resistance.
Lastly, the Oppo Enco Clip 2 supports Bluetooth 6.1 and LDHC 5.0, as well as AAC and SBC codecs. Software features include the ability to launch Spotify with touch gestures, real-time AI-powered speech translation, and the ability to connect to two devices simultaneously. In Europe, a pair of Oppo Enco Clip 2 earbuds will set you back by EUR 179.
