Affordable dual-SIM Moto G87 leaks with 8GB RAM, expandable 256 GB storage, Dimensity 6000-series SoC

Motorola is reportedly preparing to expand its G-series lineup with the unannounced Moto G87. While the Moto G67 and Moto G77 debuted earlier this year, official support pages on Motorola’s own website have prematurely revealed the G87’s hardware layout.
The schematics confirm a familiar design language and the inclusion of a hybrid SIM slot supporting microSD expansion up to 2TB. We also see three rear camera "lenses". However, it's likely only two of those are "real cameras".
Further details emerged from Italian retailer Epto, which listed the device in two Pantone-certified colors - Overture Gray and Blue Atoll. However, additional leaked wallpapers hint at four more colorways - Arctic Seal, Black Olive, Nile, and Shaded Spruce.

The listings point to a configuration featuring 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, priced at approximately €407 - positioning it above the G77. Meanwhile, leaked firmware suggests the device is codenamed "Naples" and might be using the MT6835 platform, which aligns with MediaTek’s Dimensity 6000 series (likely the 6300 or 6400).
The Moto G87’s appearance on Motorola’s own functional support pages and active listings at European retailers typically indicates that a phone is weeks away from hitting store shelves. Stay tuned!
