Motorola confirms new premium foldables launching globally in April with Edge 70 Pro

Less than a month has passed since Motorola released its latest foldable across the Eurozone and in the UK. Available with big launch discounts, the Razr Fold is the company's first attempt at taking on Samsung's Galaxy Z Fold division.
Currently, Samsung is not expected to replace the Galaxy Z Fold7 or Galaxy Z Flip7 (curr. $1,019 on Amazon) until July 2026 at the earliest. Not only has Motorola beaten its rival to a new book-style foldable release, but it has also indicated that new clamshell Razr foldables will be ready before the end of the month.
Specifically, the company has now teased that it has 'something new' coming on April 29. Embedded below, the short clip briefly shows a clamshell foldable alongside a second mysterious device. Based on recent leaks, the former is likely the Razr 70 Ultra or Razr Ultra 2026, which is expected to be joined by a cheaper alternative.
Meanwhile, the second device shown could well be the Edge 70 Pro. Moreover, Motorola's European and US websites reflect the same teaser embedded below. As a result, it seems that new Razr clamshells will debut globally on April 29 rather than just regionally.
