Honor 600 debuts with large 7,000 mAh battery and 8,000 nits AMOLED display

Honor has unveiled the Honor 600, a midrange smartphone in the global market. Alongside the vanilla variant, the company has also introduced the Honor 600 Pro variant, which we have covered separately and you can read about it here. The company’s new mid-range smartphone brings an interesting set of features for the price, from large battery capacity and capable cameras to a bright display and powerful processor in its segment.
The vanilla variant retains almost very similar specs from the Pro, albeit with few tweaks. For example, the Pro variant ships with a triple rear camera setup, while the base model has a dual camera setup. It features the same OIS-enabled 1/1.40-inch 200 MP main camera with CIPA 6.0 image stabilization. The company omits the telephoto lens from the Honor 600 and instead offers only a 12 MP ultrawide shooter, which also acts as a macro lens. At the front, you get the same 50 MP portrait selfie camera as the Pro sibling.
The Honor 600 features a large 7,000 mAh Si-C battery with support for 80 W wired and 27 W reverse-wired charging. Unlike the Pro model, it lacks wireless charging support. Despite the large battery, the smartphone is barely thicker and heavier than most other smartphones in the market. Speaking about dimensions, it measures just 7.8 mm (0.30 inch) in thickness and weighs around 185 grams (0.40 lbs). However, it’s worth noting that the EU version will come with a slightly smaller 6,400 mAh battery capacity.
The smartphone is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor paired with an Adreno 722 GPU. It packs up to 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of internal storage with no room for storage expansion. The software side is covered by MagicOS 10 based on Android 16. Like the Honor 600 Pro, the vanilla variant will also receive six years of major Android updates (up to Android 22) and six years of security patches until 2032.
Other features include a matte metal frame, dual stereo speakers, AI Image to Video 2.0, dual microphones with noise reduction, a customizable AI button, SGS 5-star drop and crush certification, and IP68, IP69, and IP69K ingress protection.

Price and Availability
The Honor 600 is priced at RM 2,599 for the 12 GB + 512 GB model. Buyers can choose from black, golden white, and orange color options.
