OnePlus officially teases its next smartphone

The OnePlus 15T was launched last month in China as a compact flagship smartphone with a 6.32-inch screen and a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. Now the company has started teasing its next device.
On the Chinese social media site Weibo, OnePlus President Li Jie Louis has confirmed that a new Ace series device is coming soon. For those unaware, the OnePlus Ace series is a performance-oriented lineup of smartphones. The OnePlus Ace 6 series currently consists of the standard Ace 6 and the Ace 6T.
OnePlus has not yet revealed the name or specifications of the upcoming device. However, recent leaks suggest the next device could be the OnePlus Ace 6 Ultra, succeeding last year's Ace 5 Ultra.
It is tipped to feature a 6.78-inch screen with a 1.5K resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate. One of its key highlights will be the Dimensity 9500, which is a flagship octa-core chipset based on a 3nm process. The phone may feature up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage.
Notably, the phone is tipped to feature a large 8,500mAh battery. It may also sport a dual rear camera setup with a 50MP primary sensor. At the time of writing, there is no confirmed release date for the device.
