Oppo releases two new smartphones with 7000 mAh batteries and 120 Hz screens

Oppo has added two new smartphones in its F-series lineup, namely, the Oppo F33 and the Oppo F33 Pro. Interestingly, both smartphones share a very similar set of features, from display and processor to battery and camera. Oppo is continuing the trend of larger batteries by incorporating a large 7,000 mAh battery into both phones. Both devices support 80 W wired charging (Ugreen Nexode Pro 100 W charger curr. at $59.99 on Amazon). 

Even the display and processor of both smartphones are the same. Inside, the Oppo F33 and the Oppo F33 Pro have MediaTek’s new Dimensity 6360 Max chipset, which is just a rebadged version of the Dimensity 6300 with no difference in clock speeds or connectivity. In terms of the panel, Oppo has outfitted a 6.57-inch AMOLED screen in both smartphones, delivering FHD+ resolution with a 120 Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 600 nits. 

What separates the F33 Pro from the vanilla variant is its 50 MP selfie shooter. The base model boasts a 16 MP snapper at the front for capturing selfies and video chats. Speaking of the rear camera, the Oppo F33 and the Oppo F33 Pro have the same 50 MP primary camera complemented by a 2 MP monochrome sensor. 

Other features of the F33 series include IP69K ingress protection, ColorOS 16 based on Android 16, a 360° armored body, an in-display fingerprint sensor, and a micro-SD card slot for storage expansion. 

As for price, the Oppo F33 and the Oppo F33 Pro are priced at INR 31,999 (~$343) and INR 37,999 (~$407) for the base 6 GB + 128 GB and 8 GB + 128 GB models. Interestingly, the vanilla model is available in two beautiful color options, including forest green and pearl white, while the Pro variant ships with misty forest, starry blue, and passion red colorways. Buyers can now pre-order both smartphones directly via Oppo’s official website, with shipments scheduled for April 26.
