Honor launches new ultra-premium smartphone globally with massive launch discount

Honor has officially unveiled the Honor 600 series at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The company has launched two smartphones under the Honor 600 series, namely, the Honor 600 and the Honor 600 Pro. The Pro variant comes as the direct competitor to the likes of the Xiaomi 17, the Samsung Galaxy S26, and the Vivo X300. We already covered the Honor 600 separately, and you can read about it here.

Design-wise, the smartphone looks quite similar to the iPhone 17 Pro. The Honor 600 Pro sports a 6.57-inch flat AMOLED display that outputs at 2728 x 1264p resolution with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a peak brightness of 8,000 nits. For photography, you get a triple rear camera setup, consisting of a 200 MP primary camera with OIS support, a 50 MP OIS-enabled periscope telephoto lens with 3.5x optical zoom and 120x digital zoom, and a 12 MP ultrawide shooter that also doubles as a macro lens. Up front, there’s a 50 MP snapper for selfies and video chats.

Speaking of processor, the Honor 600 Pro is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset coupled with up to 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of internal storage. It runs Android 16-based MagicOS 10 out of the box, and the company promises 6 years of major OS upgrades (up to Android 22) and 6 years of security patches until 2032.

Interestingly, the Asian version of the Honor 600 Pro boasts a large 7,000 mAh Si-C battery with support for 80 W wired, 50 W wireless, and 27 W wired reverse charging. Whereas the EU variant ships with a slightly smaller 6,400 mAh battery. This time around, Honor has incorporated the AI image-to-video 2.0 feature into the 600 Pro. This feature allows users to combine up to three images with natural language prompts to generate high-quality 3- to 8-second video sequences.

The rest of the highlights of the Honor 600 Pro include a matte metal frame, SGS certification, an in-display fingerprint sensor, an AI color engine, a dedicated customizable AI button, dual stereo speakers, and IP68, IP69, and IP69K ingress protection.

Available in three beautiful golden white, orange, and black color options, the Honor 600 Pro starts at RM 3,099 ($784) for the base 12 GB + 256 GB model, and the 12 GB + 512 GB model is priced at RM 3,299 ($834). Interested buyers can now pre-order the Honor 600 Pro in Malaysia directly from the Honor online store, Honor Experience store, and other authorized retailers such as Lazada, Shopee, Harvey Norman, Senheng, SenQ, Urban Republic, and TikTok Shop.

The company is offering a limited-time free gift bundle worth up to RM 1,935, including a RM 200 instant rebate, a free Fujifilm Instax Mini LiPlay, 365-day front and back crack replacement, a 1-year extended warranty, and a 1-year liquid damage protection warranty for those who pre-order the Honor 600 Pro smartphone. However, keep in mind that preorders are now open until 29 April 2026. The smartphone will be available for purchase nationwide from 30 April 2026.
