Tecno reveals Pop X 5G key features ahead of the official launch

Last month, Tecno unveiled the Spark 50 5G smartphone with a Pixel 10-style look. Now, Transition Holdings’ subsidiary brand, Tecno, has officially revealed key features of its upcoming Pop X 5G via an Amazon promo page. Interestingly, the smartphone ships with the same Pixel 10-inpsired design (curr. available at $549 on Amazon). You get the same horizontal pill-shaped camera setup on the Pop X. However, the brand hasn't disclosed the camera specs.
What we know is that the device has an aerospace-grade 6-series aluminum camera deco on the rear, which is similar to the recently launched Spark 50 5G. The device is said to come with IP64 Pro ingress protection and MIL-STD-810H certification. Besides, the listing also revealed that the smartphone will come in two color options, including blue and green color options.
Furthermore, the Pop X 5G boasts a large 6,500 mAh battery with support for 45 W charging. There’s no word on its wireless charging support, indicating the smartphone may lack this feature. Like the Spark 50 5G, the latest Pop series smartphone is advertised with USRP 3.0 technology. According to Tecno, this technology offers up to 8x improved network speeds for smoother streaming, reliable connectivity, and faster downloads.
As for price, neither Amazon listing nor Tecno’s official website has disclosed the price details. However, what’s confirmed is that the device will come in 4 GB and 6 GB RAM options. Moreover, Tecno hasn’t revealed core specs of the device such as display, camera, and processor; we have to wait for the official launch, scheduled for 20 April.
