OneXPlayer X2 Mini gaming handheld confirmed to receive global release

One-Netbook has already adopted AMD's Strix Halo platform for gaming handheld purposes. Available with up to the Ryzen AI Max+ 395, the OneXFly Apex (curr. $2,320 on Amazon) rivals the GPD Win 5 and the Ayaneo Next II with an 8-inch display, an external battery and optional liquid cooling.
Nonetheless, One-Netbook confirmed earlier this week that it would be returning to the Strix Halo platform with the OneXPlayer X2 Mini. Initially, it only teased this release on Chinese social media. However, it then uploaded the same video to its global YouTube channel.
Embedded below, the video confirms that the OneXPlayer X2 Mini features micro switches, capacitive joysticks with RGB lighting and two-stage triggers. An 85 Wh battery will be present too, as will the same 8.8-inch VRR OLED display found in the existing Legion Go 2.
One-Netbook also markets the OneXPlayer X2 Mini as another '3-in-1' device. To that end, the company plans to sell a detachable keyboard accessory like the OneXPlayer X1 series before it. One-Netbook has teased that the OneXPlayer X2 Mini will be launching soon globally, too. Exactly when remains to be seen at this point.
