Lenovo Legion Go S (SteamOS) jumps to $1050, but Best Buy has the better one for $900

Just as the Legion Go 2 has gotten a price increase, including the 2TB version, Lenovo has also raised the price of the cheaper Legion Go S with SteamOS. However, buyers cannot only buy it at a lesser price on Best Buy, they also get the more powerful version with more RAM and storage.
When the Legion Go S with SteamOS was released last year, it had a launch price of $599.99, even though Lenovo initially said it would cost $499.99 at launch. Nevertheless, that price got you the version powered by the Ryzen Z2 Go processor paired with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.
A more powerful version with the Ryzen Z1 Extreme, the same chipset inside the original Legion Go, along with 32GB of RAM and 1TB of storage cost $899.99, and was available to purchase from Best Buy.
Now, Lenovo has raised the price of the base model of the Legion Go S with SteamOS to $1049.99, a whopping $450 increase. This is an insane price increase considering there was a time in 2025 that the Legion Go S (Windows) with a Rzyen Z1 Extreme processor, 32GB RAM, and 1TB of storage was on sale on Amazon for just $499.99!
While Lenovo has raised the price of the handheld, interested buyers can get it for a lesser price on Best Buy, and the best part is that the retailer has the more powerful version. For $899.99, Best Buy will sell you the Legion Go S with SteamOS with the Ryzen Z1 Extreme, 32GB RAM, and 1TB SSD. You can pick it up at a Best Buy store today at that price or order it online on their website. We don't know how long it will remain at that price, but we advise not to hesitate.
