Affordable compact camera with 4-inch touchscreen launches as Leica lookalike

At first glance, Beck's B-Quest BQ1 is reminiscent of cameras such as the Leica D-Lux 8, not least because the camera features a "10x" lettering in a red circle, which is reminiscent of the red Leica logo. The camera hardware is very simple, which is not surprising considering the price of just around $119.
Saeda uses an 8 MP f/1.8 camera based on a 1/2.9 inch sensor. There is a secondary 5 MP camera with a 1/3.2 inch sensor on the back, which is intended for selfies. On paper, both the main camera and the selfie camera are inferior to those of an inexpensive smartphone, meaning that the BQ1 should be considered more of a toy camera. It is fitting for a camera in this class that the look of photos can be customized with 15 filters.
Videos can be recorded in 4K resolution with a maximum of 30 frames per second. Despite its low price, Saeda has installed a relatively large 4-inch touchscreen with a resolution of 854 x 480 pixels. It is curious that the manufacturer also advertises the camera as a digital music player, although Saeda does not provide any information on the supported Bluetooth standards. The 1,200 mAh battery is said to provide enough power for 130 photos and is charged via USB-C.
