New Oppo compact phone with 200MP camera heads for international release

The Oppo Reno 15 Pro was launched earlier this year as a compact smartphone with a 6.32-inch display and Dimensity 8450 chipset. It is now expected to be succeeded by the Oppo Reno 16 Pro.
As reported by TheTechOutlook, the Reno 16 Pro with model number “CPH2863” has received certifications across Asia, Europe, and the Middle East. The device has been certified in the UAE (TDRA), Europe (EEC), India (BIS), and Indonesia (TKDN).
Additionally, the device has been certified by TÜV SÜD, revealing support for 80W charging. The NBD Import and Export website also reveals that the smartphone will be launched in Pakistan with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage.
According to a previous leak, the Oppo Reno 16 Pro will feature a 6.32-inch OLED display. One of the key highlights of the phone will be a triple rear camera setup led by a 200MP primary sensor. The phone is also said to feature a glass back and an aluminum frame. Additionally, the Indonesian TKDN listing has revealed 5G support across five bands (N1, N3, N5, N8, N40).
In China, Oppo has already started pre-registration for the Reno 16 series. However, specifications may differ from the global variants. The Reno 16 Pro is expected to be released globally in Q3 2026.
