Samsung has accidentally leaked its most exciting budget phone in years - the Galaxy A27. The upcoming A26 successor is expected to feature a Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chip, a modern punch-hole design with slim bezels, and a 120Hz display, positioning it as a real contender in the €300 price segment assuming it inherits the A26's price tag.

Samsung has accidentally confirmed the nearing launch of what might be the most premium budget Galaxy phone ever - the upcoming Galaxy A27.

While the Korean tech giant officially took the wraps off the mid-range Galaxy A37 and Galaxy A57 back in March, the entry-level "hero" of the lineup was conspicuously absent - until now.

The confirmation comes not from a press release, but from an oversight on Samsung’s own regional support pages. The Galaxy A27 has been listed as a compatible device on the company’s Brazilian website within a section dedicated to Samsung Wallet. This slip-up effectively ends speculation regarding the device's existence and suggests an official launch is imminent.

The Galaxy A27 looks far more premium than the Galaxy A26 in leaked renders.

Value king: Why the Galaxy A27 could be Samsung's most premium €300 phone… ever

If the latest reports hold true, the Galaxy A27 is set to bridge the gap between the budget and mid-range tiers more effectively than any of its predecessors. Historically, the A2x series has been defined by "entry-level" compromises, such as thick bezels and dated waterdrop notches. However, the A27 has undergone a radical facelift. Finally. Now, it’s the iPhone 17e’s turn?

Leaked renders suggest Samsung has ditched the "Infinity-V" notch in favor of a modern punch-hole cutout, paired with a significantly reduced "chin" at the bottom of the display (that’s compared to the Galaxy A26). By modernizing the chassis and adopting the design language of the more expensive A5x series, Samsung is positioning the A27 to be a highly desirable prospect for those who want a premium aesthetic for less.

Leaked Galaxy A27 specs: Snapdragon 6 Gen 3, 120Hz display, 6 years of OS updates

According to leaked info, under the hood, the Galaxy A27 is taking a page out of the Galaxy A36’s playbook. Recent Geekbench listings reveal that the device will utilize the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset.

Here are the remaining leaked specs of the Galaxy A27:

  • Display: 6.7-inch FHD+ LCD with a silky-smooth 120Hz refresh rate.
  • Memory: 6GB of RAM (with a potential 8GB SKU in certain regions).
  • Camera: A 50MP main sensor, 8MP ultra-wide, and a 2MP macro lens.
  • Battery: 5,000 mAh.

As the Galaxy A57 moves further up the price bracket, the A27’s combination of modern design and reliable software support could make it the most logical choice for many Samsung fans in 2026. Unless it’s €100 more expensive than the €300 Galaxy A26 due to the ongoing memory crisis.
